The creativity of this senior session was almost more excitement than I could bare! I love when clients want to step outside of the box because it stretches my creative ability as a photographer! So with that said, I just LOVED working with beautiful Rainah and her desire to be unquie and remembered through her senior shoot. I met with Rainah before our session at her favorite coffee shop, Jives Coffee House in Old Colorado City. I wanted to get to know Rainah a little better before starting our session so we could create a shoot unique to her. She told me her dream job is to become a National Geographic Photographer.....WOW, what an awesome dream to have! Luckily I happen to have some old vintage National Geographic magazines that I found at a thrift store for 10 cents each. Some dating all the way back to 1918! So of course, I had to incorporate these into the shoot along with a vintage camera. We had a lot of fun with these props! Rainah also told me she loves books, mountains, and fall. I wanted to somehow capture all of these things for her so we visited the Old Colorado City Library, Bear Creek Park, and lastly Prospect Lake at Memorial Park for her very unquie, out of the box pictures! Rainah originally wanted to get into the water for the lake shots....but even though we caught a nice warm day for November we found ice on the lake! Yikes! Luckily I brought a chair and my husbands fishing waders to allow Rainah to not be in the water and me stay nice and dry while I was in the water! All in all I think we had quite the successful shoot and we had lots of fun too! Here are some of my favorites from Rainah's Senior Session! Enjoy!
